THE BIBLE SAYS

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life...” (1 John 5:13). God
wants us all to know that we can go to Heaven, but if we expect to get there we must go His way.

WE ARE ALL SINNERS

What does God’s Word teach about this all important subject? First of all, we are all sinners. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of
God,” (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin we are under sin’s penalty, which is death. “For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23a). This
penalty means eternal separation from God in hell.

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS

God does not want anyone to go to hell, so He sent His only begotten Son to die and pay the  penalty of our sins. “But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) Christ’s death was necessary to provide the only way to Heaven.
“Here in is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation [full payment] for our sins.” (1 John 4:10).

ETERNAL LIFE IS GOD’S GIFT

God’s love for us is so great that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven. He offers His forgiveness and salvation freely. “…but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b) Please note that eternal life is offered to you as a gift. But like a gift, it is not yours
until you receive it. To receive Christ is to receive life-eternal life, a home in Heaven.

HOW TO RECEIVE CHRIST

Here is how you may receive Jesus Christ. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9). You must believe with all your heart, and call on the Lord to save you. “For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

YOU MUST REPENT

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men every where to repent.” (Acts 17:30) To repent literally means to
turn away from your sin and turn to serve Jesus Christ.

CALL ON THE LORD NOW

So you may know for sure you are going to Heaven, be truthful from your heart and call unto God with this prayer:

“Dear Jesus, Please forgive me for all my sins. I  believe You died on the cross for me, and I believe that it’s your blood that washes my
sins away. I’m willing to turn from my sin and serve You. I ask you to come into my life and save me, thank You for saving me Jesus, Amen.”

If you prayed this prayer, accepting the Lord Jesus as your Saviour, we would like to rejoice with you and give you some material to help you
grow.
